Product Description: Zenith is synonymous with top-shelf quality when it comes to boar shaving brushes. We are extremely happy to have partnered with Zenith for this custom 510SE 28mm boar brush. Set in a heavy duty resin Stirling green handle with an engraved and painted logo, you won't find these anywhere else but stirlingsoap.com

NOTE: Please properly soak the boar hair prior to use while the brush is being broken in. This will help with the break-in process, and ensure the great performance and longevity of the brush. Due to the intricacy of the engraving of the Stirling Soap logo, the painting of each logo will vary slightly from brush to brush. We felt the trade-off was worth it rather than just going with a screen-printed logo that will eventually wear off over the years.

Total Brush Weight: 114g

Total Brush Height: 4.75in

Knot Diameter: 28mm

Knot Height: 46mm

Customers praised this boar brush for exceptional performance, with many calling it the "best boar brush ever." The brush features excellent backbone, creates thick creamy lather, and is surprisingly soft. Customers appreciated it "performs better than $100+ badger brushes" and requires minimal break-in. The engraved logo and quality handle were noted positives.

Boar Excellence

Wow! I’m blown away by this brush…I don’t know why I have waited so long to try it out.
The tips are soft but firm with just the right amount of backbone.
Soaked it in water for about 24 hours, dried it out and that’s all it took.
Very pleased and grateful to Rod & Mandy for all the outstanding products they offer at a reasonable price.
It makes it very easy to support this outstanding company.

I bought the 28mm and the 31mm and they both are wonderful. Now both are soap/cream killers which I'm fine with since shave soap/creams are meant to be used so you can buy more. The Zenith bleached knots seem to perform better at this size as the backbone doesn't drop off as quick as the smaller knots do. The face feel is effective as long as you soak the tips maybe 1/4 to 1/2 inch. I prefer, or need, the backbone to help prevent ingrown hair as I have curly black, gray and silver hair. In any case, if you are in search for boar brush to have an adventure with you will not be disappointed with a purchase or two of the 28mm Stirling Zenith. Great job and Bravo Zulu to your crew! You did us all a big favor.

More than expected!!

I already own a Zenith Boar brush, and I simply love it, when I saw the Zenith Stirling one, I simply pulled the trigger, the brush and its presentation are perfect.I know I will enjoy, so many nice shaves with it, using Stirling soaps as its companion

Best Boar Brush Ever

I can use this to face lather amazingly. And to bowl lather, it makes such a thick and creamy lather it’s unbelievable. It is softer than I thought boar could be and is getting better with use. The backbone is amazing the lather is amazing. It does great with hard soaps. It’s not “pokey” like other boar brushes, so if you’re after the pokey “face massage” effect idk if you’ll get that. I haven’t used any of my other boar brushes since getting this brush.

Boar Brush

I had always thought that boar brushes were the bottom tier behind badger and synthetic in quality. I was so wrong. With a little effort to break in the brush, I now have a new favorite, and a few of my badgers cost over $100. With the price and quality, the VALUE is off the chart.

BACKBONE

This brush has a backbone and is so easy to create a luxurious lather with. The boar needs more soap than other types of brushes but it performs more to my tastes compared to others so it's a worthy tradeoff for me. The handle is very solid and sized such that it's easy and comfortable to claw grip when loading and building the lather. The engraving won't go away which I appreciate as my other brushes not from Stirling had it printed and it faded within a year. Very happy overall.

This Boar is the Best!

Over the years, I've collected lots of brushes, including Badger, Synthetic and Boar. Of all of them, I prefer Boar and this is my favorite. It's big, but not too big. After a few weeks, it's soft but still firm enough to feel good and exfoliate well. It holds a bucket of soap and I get 3 solid passes. This is a great, effective, good-in-the-hand and on-my-face brush! If you're considering, go for it!

28mm Zenith Boar brush

I debated buying this brush and looked at the 31mm as well. This 28mm is a top shelf boar brush I am really glad I bought it. I love a great boar brush and this is no exception. Never had any odor and I broke it in very quickly. Loads exceptionally well. And releases lather with no problem. So glad I added this brush to my arsenal. Thank you Sterling for another top quality product. I could not be happier.

Excellent Boar Brush

The Zenith Boar Brush (28mm) is very well-made with an exceptional knot. Right out of the box, there's no animal smell at all and can be used right away. In addition, the logo is engraved, not a decal so it won't disappear after a few shaves. In my opinion, boar brushes are the best shaving brushes because of their body and as they wear, the tips become softer.

The Best Boar Brush Out Of The Box EVER!

As I stated, the best boar brush out of the box that I have ever used point blank.
I cold soaked the brush for one day and tried it. So soft! Going to soak for another two days to finish the process. Feels like it is already broke in out of the box. Very good shave but it eats soap like any other boar brush on the market. Makes an awesome later. It seems to me that it holds enough lather for my 3 pass shave and then some. I don't have to go back and fill the brush for a second time. I like that a lot. I like the size and feel of the handle. feels good in my hand and I think the Stirling green is nice looking with the natural boar brush color. All in all, I'm very impressed with this brush and may have to try the larger knot size to see how that feels too. I'm a brush-aholic LOL. Hope this helps with your choice and Merry Christmas to all. :-)

The Best Boar Knot in the Business

The Stirling Zenith collab is a master stroke as IMHO Zenith makes the finest boar knot in the business and their ergonomic handles are perfection. Match that with the Stirling color scheme and you have a winner. The Zenith Boar knot is darn near lather ready out of the box (which is a very nice presentation box I might add). I did an initial long (a couple of hours) cold water soak and a couple of test lathers. No gamey odor detected and the knot was quickly ready for its first use the next day.
I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a Stirling/Zenith-boar brush while supplies last. They won’t last long. 💚
