This thing is huge and i have a big area to cover when i shave my head.Lathers up good and feels good when spreading it on my head.Its big !

I do wish I looked at the sizes before I purchased. It is a large brush. It does do the job, but wish I went a size down.

This brush is large and luxurious and at this price is such a steal, I bought a second one of this size just to have it in case. As an aside, I think synthetic bristles have "arrived" -- for years I worried that they would never equal the performance of the best badger brushes, or a well broken in boar brush. But this was ready to go out of the box, feels great on the face, and works so well. It almost feels like a backhanded complement to say "at this price." Forget about price. This is a great brush and will give you years of shaving enjoyment. Just a stellar piece of equipment. Now factor in that it costs next to nothing? What the heck are you waiting for. No connection to the company here, just a satisfied customer.

This is an excellent, sturdy brush that makes a great, fast lather. For a brush so large, it dries quickly and would make a fine travel companion.

I was looking forward to this after reading the reviews. I knew it was going to be large, but the handle shape isn't very comfortable for my hands and the brush I received has little backbone. I wonder if I received one of the ones with less wavy fibers. This unfortunately is probably a one and done for me.

This brush really is a very, very good brush. For me it's the perfect size for a 3 pass shave. Creates great lather, and has excellent face-feel and good backbone. Looks good too.

I bought this synthetic brush to use in a guest bathroom on ocassion, but I like it so much that it has displaced my aging Badger Hair brush in my main bathroom. This brush is extra-wide, which makes for a much more lush lather. The brush is soft and supple, and it holds water amazingly well. It's priced really well, and I recommend it even for people who swear they would never use a synthetic. Try it. You'll love it.

I had expected this brush to be like the others I had used. Turned out almost the exact opposite. VERY soft, almost fluffy. Great amount of spring in the synthetic bristles. Worked up a lather super fast. Best of all it dries out nicely without getting crunchy!

I got this brush and some other stuff yesterday and I used the brush and was able to work up a great Shaving lather with a combination of Orange Chill and Glacial Citron.

It is much easier to work up my Shaving lather with this brush compared to my previous synthetic brush.

Also, the price is excellent, especially considering the great quality of the brush.

It is very soft, has the amount of backbone I like, and whips up an amazing lather, even with my not so great soaps. Bought three, one for my brother, one for my father and one for my self. They also liked it very much.

My 1st synthetic brush and was not disappointed. Much better they my boar and the size is perfect. Love the wide 26mm knot and it feels luxurious. Provides a great lather. Costs less than a 20. This is a sleeper for sure. It may look stock but it's got performance for days! Get You a Kong...Now!

The "Kong" is my first synthetic shaving brush. I absolutely love it! The brush handle has a great heft and grip and the brush itself feels soft and easily whips up a great lather and feels great on my face and neck! This one is a real winner! Thanks, Stirling Soap!

When my sister wanted to get into wet shaving, I gave her a bunch of different razors (SE and DE) and blades, but only one brush--the Kong. Why? Because it's crazy forgiving. I just don't get a bad lather with it. Ever.

The good news is that she loves it. The bad news is that it left me minus one Kong. I was responsible and went without it for almost a year until I realized that for 15 bucks it makes absolutely NO sense to go without a bomb-proof daily driver. So glad to have this brush back! :D

Many say the L'Occitaine synthetic brush started the synthetic brush craze. But this brush is the one that made many go crazy for synthetics. This is the king of the synthetic brushes. I bought this brush when it first came out. Still use it. This brush lasts a long time. Get it. You will be happy you did!

I picked this up a few months ago at Pasteur's pharmacy in Manhattan .
This brush is absolutely no joke it holds so much lather it is possible to do an 8 pass shave if you go that far had I known the power of a synthetic brush I would have gotten one a long time ago instead of wasting money on the badger brushes.
For the small price you pay this is all you really need well worth the small investment.

Makes gobs of lather when other brushes can only make soup. Plus, it is a delight to the face, almost sybaritic. How anyone can pass this brush up, I do not know.

My oldest son pretty much destroyed the old horsehair brush I gave him when he started shaving, so I gave him my Razorock Plissoft (24mm). I'm all about value, so I loved that RR Plissoft brush--soft, durable, and a fantastic (almost unbeatable) price point. I was just going to order another, but I saw this one and was curious to try out the larger 26 mm 'Kong.'

While the 'Kong' is 5 bucks more, I feel like I really got my money's worth with the way this brush performs; it retains water better, holds lather with ease, and I swear I'm getting more lather out of this brush for the same amount of soap used (I put my soaps in repurposed deodorant sticks, rub the soap on my palm, and palm lather, so It's pretty easy to remain consistent with the amount). If the Kong remains as durable as my old RR, then this will easily become my favorite brush... one that I'd recommend it to anyone.

This is the best shave brush in my rotation. Tried it for the first time with some Stirling Spice and had enough lather to shave King Kong. Can't go wrong with this brush.

Out of the box I was shocked by the size but amazed by the softness. No odor, no break-in time, no shedding.

I initially thought it would be too soft to lather. I got a Timeless lather bowl the same day and the two worked great together. It applied the lather very softly but well. (With my badger brush I could feel a light exfoliating sensation during the application that I don't get with this.)

I did very little research before making this purchase. I dropped and broke the handle to my badger brush the same day I was placing an order at Stirling. On a whim I checked their hardware page and picked this brush. So glad I did! It was very inexpensive and I figured it would do until I could do some research and order another badger brush. I think I will just stick with this one now.

After 30+ years of wet shaving, this is my first “big brush.” I had no idea how much better the whole lathering experience could be. I love the Plissoft style knot and the quality of the brush is good. It has a nice heft and despite its size, it is easy to hold. Like most products offered here, this truly is good value for the money. I heartily recommend!

An excellent brush all round! Whips a rich lather and application is brilliant! I recommend every wet shaver to try it at least once...you will not regret it. Definitely my favorite brush.

What can I say, it’s an amazing brush and an amazing price.
I was a little hesitant to purchase the bigger brush but I’m glad I did. This is a fantastic brush, possibly becoming my only and favorite daily brush. Holds enough water, whips up a great lather. I only have to let the water drip down and then load it with shaving soap, no need to squeeze the water out.
I shave both my head and face and this brush holds enough lather. Really pleased with the purchase.
