Scent Description: Almost Heaven is a luminous, warm floral fragrance that feels like a soft embrace - effervescent fruits sparkle at the top, giving way to a creamy bouquet of white flowers like jasmine, peony, freesia, and lotus, all grounded in a cozy base of gold musk, bourbon vanilla, and sandalwood. It's clean, sophisticated, and subtly indulgent, like fresh linens warmed by golden sunlight.

Ingredients: Beef Tallow, Stearic Acid, Distilled Water, Castor Oil, Potassium Hydroxide, Vegetable Glycerin, Fragrance Oil, Almond Oil, Shea Butter, Coconut Milk, Lanolin, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Lactate

Sizes:

Shave Jar: 5.8oz

Refill Puck: 4.5oz

Sample Puck: 1.0oz

This shave soap delivers excellent lather and slickness for a close, comfortable shave. Customers praised the "thick lather" and quality performance. However, scent reviews are mixed: some love the "fantastic" fragrance, while others find it "light and nondescript" or overly floral. A few reported skin irritation from the fragrance. Overall, strong shaving performance with polarizing scent.

Live the scent

I thought it was going to be like Kilian’s “straight to Heaven” or “A taste of Heaven” but it smells good. I love the scent.

Lowkey scent strength but,...

Scent strength on mine is about 1-2 out of 5. It's that kind of vibe. Powdery, gentle SOAP fragrance. Reminds me a lot of classic Mitchels Wool Fat. If you know, you know. Not quite Heaven but, still very welcome in the shave den.

Love the scent

I love the scent. I thought it was going to be sweet scented, but it’s pleasant. I love it.

Will Make a Grown Man Beg!

This is definitely my wife's favorite scent Honestly horrified to hear that it's on the chopping block. White Linen, Queen of Hearts and Almost Heaven are by far the best scents in the female line! Same great Stirling quality and production.

Ladies, it is not overwhelming but this scent demands attention and commands a second, closer inhale. It will certainly raise the blood pressure a bit in the very best way possible Try this one while you have the chance.

Meh

The soap is great. Excellent glide, very good cushion, does exactly what I want a shaving soap to do.

Scent is meh. It's light and nondescript vaguely old lady perfume. I love amber but I don't get any from this. It's mostly floral. Certainly could be peony scent, or just a bottle titled spring garden, or something along those lines.

Great lather, not crazy about the scent

The function of the soap is outstanding. Provides nice slickness and cushion. The cream is very thick and dense. I just do not like the scent which is obviously subjective. Also, there is something in the soap (my guess is the perfume used) that irritates my skin on the reapplication. Again, that is subjective as it may not affect others.

Absolute favorite!!!

Such a fantastic scent I can't put into words. It's a clean scent with a dash of... a Hawaiian vacation? A sweet breeze off the mountains? Whatever it is, beyond fantastic!!

Wonderful!!!

Got this for my wife, as I have gotten her onboard the stirling train.....we have tried all the womens line scents and she really loves them all but likes this one and witchy women right now...For me the scent is a wonderful feminine scent that you would smell from victoria's secret or bath and body works.. would also say witchy women is in the same boat, so consider that one too if able.

Not That Femanine

I was worried it was going to be very perfume like but it is not. It is very faint smelling and elegant. A good choice if you are not into musk and woodsy smells. I will be buying this again.

Samples are worth purchasing until the Internet figures out smell o vision.

The Name Fits The Soap

Great fragrance and the performance is in line with the other great Sterling Soaps.
Happy that I added this one to my Sterling collection.
It goes to the top of my rotation.

Skin Irritation!

When I first opened this soap, the smell was amazing. I rubbed a bit of it in the palm of my hand, and the scent was like a high quality cologne that I would buy in a heartbeat. Unfortunately however, the fragrance gave me a very intense burning on my face unlike any other Stirling soap. I've used it twice, and besides the irritation, the wonderful initial smell turns very plain, soapy and feminine once lathered. If I hadn't had a reaction to this soap, I would rate it a 3.5.

Almost Heaven Soap

Great scent. Very clean smell. By far my favorite Stirling Shave soap so far. Lathers up nicely and gives a comfortable shave.

Excellent soap, very pleasant scent

Stirling shaving soaps always offer a rich luxurious lather that loads easily and quickly on the brush to provide nice slickness for a close, comfortable shave.
The scent is very pleasant, though pretty mild.

Man's perspective

So...my mom bought this for me for Christmas. I am guessing she was allured by the name alone. I figured I would not let precious shave soap go to waste, and I decided to just use it. I have to say, I don't hate it! It actually doesn't smell too girly. The musky smell is interesting, and doesn't linger too long to stick around.

So fellas, if you get stuck with this soap, it is not the end of the world. It is still quality Stirling Soap.

Fantastic Fragrance

After reading the product listing I was anxious to try this soap. I received it as a Christmas gift and used it immediately. I love, love this fragrance and I know that I have smelled this before as a perfume many years ago. If anyone can shed some light on what it may have been I would love to know. My first thought, because of the name , was of Heaven Sent. There are some similarities but not exactly.... Anyway, wonderful lathering soap, a little goes a long way and it has some slickness which allows touch ups with ease. My legs felt soft and silky afterwards. Highly recommend and I look forward to trying the body lotion next.
